Solar Array Becoming Warped when I try to create Dynamic Block

I'm trying to create a dynamic block of solar modules so that when I need to create a Site Layout, I can easily take my Dynamic Block that already has the specific dimensions of the solar modules/racking spacing and then expand that into a large field. I have watched a few videos on creating a dynamic block that stretches with a Linear Parameter, and then apply the Array Action to the Linear Parameter. When I test my block, instead of getting it to spread in the way I want to, it warps and most all of the modules disappear and instead I'm left with the spacing between the modules. I can't figure out why this is happening or how to create a block normally. All videos have the same info for creating it, but mine gets skewed in a weird way that I don't understand. Any insights and assistance would be greatly appreciated.

We can't understand either if you don't post the offending block. We need to see what you did. I would guess that it has to do with not adding the modules to the action's selection set.

Hi Ed,

What do you  mean by 'post the block' - Happy to provide additional details but am not how to post it here.

I did select all of the modules when I was prompted by the 'Array' selection. Let me know what details I can provide to better assist you in assisting me

When you reply to a thread, you can upload files. See the arrow below. Insert the db into a blank file and upload the dwg.

Rather than figure out what you did wrong, I just created a new block. I think yours was infinitely arraying all the polylines. It was really slow using individual entities, so I made it up of nested blocks.

Hi Ed,

Thank you so much for making a new block for me! I went into the settings and saw you created a 7, 8, 1x6 and 1x12 block. Very cool, lots of exploding to get back to the bare bones. Good to know for future dynamic block creation. Thank you!

All the best,
Callum
