Scale arc not working

I have two door dynamic blocks on the attached file.

In one the arcs scale when I stretch the door and in the other they don't. I can't figure out why?

They have the same settings.

In the one that does not scale the arcs, you do not stretch the chained parameter that is associated with the scale.  Add it to the selection set of the stretch action and it works fine.  See screencast.

I'm having a similar problem but scaling the parameter didn't work, in y case the 2 doors need to be stretchable separately, can anyone help me?
