Revised Dynamic Block won't redefine correctly

Hi and greeting all,

I don't know how to describe in proper sentences. Perhaps this will relate with some macro command.. or maybe not?

Let me get straight to the point.

I have a set of standard drawing Annotation Symbols that I used in every drawings I work on.

Attached:

1. DW_AnnoTxt-1(Old).dwg - Old Annotation Set

2. DW_AnnoTxt-1(Rev).dwg - Revised Annotation Set (Linetypes & some Dynamic Blocks)

Whenever I insert the Revised Annotation Set in any drawings which already resides the Old Annotation Set through Custom Menu with command as below:

^C^C_INSUNITS;4;-INSERT DW_AnnoTxt-1=DW_AnnoTxt-1;\;;;

It will auto redefine all blocks and change the linetypes BUT only two Dynamic Blocks (clouded in red) won't redefine correctly. Thus, I need to manually redefine those Dynamic Blocks via Design Center. I have no idea what to do next to make the Dynamic Blocks auto redefine correctly together with all other items inserted without having to manually redefine. Please experts I need your advise and thought.

Many thanks in advance for the advise, knowledge and your support.

Cheers! Acap

Well... Till date, I still can't find the solution to my Dynamic Block problem. Re-create my dynamic block from scratch will not help. Even ATTSYNC command will change the block become worst. I wonder if FIELDS can be applied into dynamic blocks, but need to have term & condition in order to make the redefine process works.
Any help is welcome and would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I have only done minimal testing, but it appears to me that you have a block that has nested blocks within it. You are redefining that main block and the nested blocks are not redefining. I believe that is correct behavior. You need to redefine the block definitions of the nested blocks as well as the host if you want it to all redefine.

Thanks Libbya for your enlighten. I will try to find way to redefine the nested block as per your advise. In my case, I will try to do some try & error to the command in the custom menu as I'm still novice in customizing menu Man Embarassed But I still don't understand.. why the old block (host and nested) didn't automatically redefined the way it should when a new block being inserted. Anyway, Thanks again for your help!
