hello folks,
im fairly new at Autocad, i've been using it for about 4 weeks now at my new job that uses it alot.
getting the hang of it , also getting into block editor and dynamic blocks.
I want to make a type of block now though and i dont know how to google it or even phrase the question so bear with me.
Lets make an example, i think that will help alot.
For my work i have to make 2d pipes from top view with specific diameters and measurements.
For every corner piece the radius for inner and outer tube are also very specific.
The thing i cant wrap my head around atm is as follows:
How can i make a dynamic block that has modular functionality with the width(diameter) and the angle of the pipe.
I wish to have a block with a 2 lookup functions, 1 where i can select the width(diameter) of said pipe.
And the other lookup function will have the degree of the angle.
so that i can switch from a pipe with diameter 1500mm with 45° to diameter 950mm with 90°. in 2 clicks.
1 of the legs has to stay in place aswell so simply rotation wont work. The "bend" or "kink" has to be changed is the idea. seperately from the diameter from the pipe.
I know i can achieve this with making every single possible combination of the 2 and settle for a visibilty option, but im wanting to learn more and was wondering if this is doable the way i want?
