Multiple Grips for a linear stretch?

Have a quick question,   can I have a stretch with multiple points to stretch the item?  Like the attached image.  The main stretch selection point is on top but I'd also like to have one on the bottom of the "table" where the red arrow is on the screenshot.  Would I need to put a point down there?

Always post the block.  It is irritating to need to start from scratch in order to demonstrate the information you're asking for.  A linear parameter can only have a max of 2 grip points (one at each end).  You can add any number of linear parameters and have then stretch each other along with whatever linework you want stretched.  See screencast.
