Materials assigned to objects inside blocks would not copy over to another file?

Hi, I've noticed that if I create a material and assign it to an object inside a block with parameters, and try to copy and paste that same block to another drawing, the material will not copy over. Is there a way to fix it?
The block that is copied over will look like it has the material, but when you try to copy the block from the new drawing again you will get a prompt saying "failed to copy"
The block that is copied over will look like it has the material, but when you save the file and open the file again, the material will be gone.
If I explode my block before I copy it I will be able to copy the material along to the new drawing, but that defeats the purpose of making a block.
I attached the block that I made, it's a very simple 3D door block with stretch parameter to adjust the width and the height. One drawing has material applied to, the other drawing has the exact same block but does not have materials applied to it. However the drawing with the block that does not have materials applied to still have the material existing in the scene.
If I tried to refine the block with no material from the block with material, it will look like it worked, but when you try to copy the refined block it will say "fail to copy", further more if you save the file and reopen the file the material on the block will be done.
The only way to refine the block is to refine the material, but AutoCAD does not allow material refine as far as I know. And I cannot purge the material before refine because other objects in the scene might need that material.
Some one please help me I'm so stressed out...
