Main dimension ignores chained dimension list of values

Hello All,

This is the situation: I'm creating a simple block with two linear parameters (one chained and one main), and set list of values for the chained parameter. If I'll try to stretch objects with the main parameter, AutoCAD will ignore existing list of values for chained parameter and stretch it the same way as main dimension.

Is it possible to change it somehow?

That is just the way it works.  There is not any way to have the governing parameter cater to the limits applied to the chained parameter.  

There might be a workaround, though for your specific application but it is impossible to say if you do not post the block.

Thanks. I've done it another way, but was curious to know if it's even possible.
