Hi, is there a way of locking dynamic blocks so that they cannot be edited by anyone other than the person that created them ?

No, there isn't. Anything that one user can do, another user can undo. The best way to 'lock' blocks against misuse is to train individuals to use them properly and eliminate from your organization anyone that would misuse them despite knowing better. The proper use of AutoCAD assumes a certain minimal intelligence.

LOL.. thanks you the response, we want to supply our dynamic blocks to people outside of our organization and stop them from removing our logos.
thank you though. i think i must just pass the bar of minimal intelligence😂

About all you can do is charge them to purchase the blocks and then they can do whatever they want with them.

BLOCKEDITLOCK (System Variable)
BLOCKEDITLOCK (System Variable)

That doesn't lock individual blocks from being editable, it prevents the installation of AutoCAD from being able to open block editor. It is also reversible by the user.

True, but it's main use is to control the behavior of double clicking a block, not to prevent a user from editing. You would have to set all user's profiles with this, but they can simply change it back. You could turn it into a MINSERT though. However, there's still ways of getting around that too.

You could, before you send them, explode all your blocks and then purge them from the drawing. I know that's a pain, but it is one way of making sure the people you send the drawings to can't use your blocks
