Keeping a bloc centered inside a shape

Good afternoon,

I am working on tools developments for my company and one of my recent problems is about reducing the amount of actions occurring to update our plans.

I am trying to find a way to maintain a dynamic bloc attached to the centre of a polyline.

- The bloc needs to follow the geometric centre of the polyline

- The polyline needs to be editable (adding corners), stretchable

- every time the polyline is stretched, moved, edited, the blocs needs to realign automatically with the centre of the polyline

I attach a dwg file with a basic idea of what I try to achieve

Many thanks for any insight or suggestion,

It might be possible with lisp. I only use LT so am not sure. But outside of that you would have to move the block manually each time. There is however a snap which can help, it's called GEOMETRIC CENTER. As long as the basepoint of your block is in the centre you can use that to move the block to the centre of the polyline.
