'IF' Statement Needed?

I am trying to create a dynamic block so that it rotates through 90 degrees through a full rotation and that the associated text rotates with it in the same relative location and always parallel to the view. By this I mean that if the block rotates through 90 degrees anticlockwise, say, then the text would rotate 90 degrees clockwise to square up. In standard programing I would see the 'IF' statement being used. I have two 'LOOKUP' statements and am trying to get them to work in unison. Can I do it this way or do I need a LISP routine?

All assistance greatfully received!

This should be possible -- can you post an example of what you're trying to
accomplish? Text-and-lines is okay, as long as the idea comes across.

Kate

Thanks for coming back but on further perseverence I found tlindell's reply to John Gray's similar query under 'keep attribute text readable.... ';
http://discussion.autodesk.com/thread.jspa?threadID=515333
from which I have now adapted his advice and it works.

For information I show what I have achieved so far. Thanks again though.

If he isn´t, than I am!
I can´t figure out how the attribute angle is changed?
