How do I rotate and move the insertion point with the dynamic block?

Hi all,

I have successfully created a dynamic block with a move parameter and 5 rotation parameters around its corners. However when I rotate or move the block, the insertion point does not rotate or move with it. All other parameter will rotate and move with the block just fine.

I have tried to add the insertion point to the action set of the move and rotate actions but cannot select it.

I have included 2 simplified screenshots (only 1 rotation point). The first showing before rotation, the second after.

Thanks!

hi!

Why you don't post block?

What you think we can do with screenshots?

I don't know what others in forum think about screenshots but it makes me angry.

Hope this is what you are after!

Many thanks

If you upload your block (.dwg) we can surely help you. Only the pics are useless.

(Maybe help you the hint that you must include the explicit defined basepoint in the selection set of the rotate action).

Hi there,

I have attached the block in the reply above.

As for your suggestion, I have tried to add the insertion point to the rotate actions but it will not select. It remains completely independent of the rest of the object.

Many thanks!

I don't know how you defined the insertion point. In the given situation I'd do it as shown in the attached screencase. (only one rotate action modified. You have to do this with the other actions too).

You must place basepoint in 0,0 point in block and add it in all move and rotation action excluding move action for text
