Help with Dynamic Block - Flip not Flipping as expected

I have a dynamic block that I'm trying to finish (see attached below) and I'm struggling to get the flip grip arrows to flip correctly.  I have a flip setup to flip over the x-axis and a flip over the y-axis.  Flipping over the x-axis works fine -- the base point stays where it is and the object and both flip arrows flip over it.  However, when I try to flip over the y-axis the basepoint stays where it is supposed to, and the object flips as expected, but the flip arrow for flipping across the x-axis stays where it is.  I want the basepoint to always stay where it is, and the flip arrows to always have the same relationship next to the base point.

I just can't seem to select that arrow to include it across the flip.  I've tried changing the action mode to the pre-2010 style, and was still unable to include the arrow in the flip.  I've also tried typing "all" at the select objects prompt, but end up getting a circular reference error.

I've only been creating dynamic blocks for about a week, so I'm probably just missing something obvious.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Save down to '07 for more look-sees

Thanks for the reply.  I saved it in 2007 format, but it still looks the same to me when I re-open it with 2011.  I suspect what you were trying to show were the separated actions versus the action bar view that 2010 and 2011 have.  That variable can be changed to the pre-2010 behavior by setting the BACTIONBARMODE variable to 0.  Viewing in that mode wasn't able to help me any further, though.  Or perhaps I'm misunderstanding your intent?

I can open and use '07 as well as many others here.

Sorry, I totally misunderstood you.  I thought you were saying I would get a better look at what was going on if it was converted to 2007.  I didn't realize you couldn't even open the drawing!

Try erasing and recreating the Vertical Flip Parameter and Action.

Well it saves me the time of converting the drawing since Friday is my lazy day but I did so anyway.

Waht does get lost in translation are Parametric Constraints and in that case you are limited to the users that have that ability.

So deleting it and recreating it worked (just like the test one you did), but now my question is why?  I've got a bunch of dynamic blocks to make and I don't want to have to do everything twice.  Is there a specific order things need to be setup in so I don't have to delete and recreate parameters and actions?

I've gotten used to setting up Arrays, Stretches, Lookups, and others then adding Rotations and lastly Flips.

Flips seem to be the easiest to get along with. Rotations and Stretches can fight one another but generally leaving the Stretch Action out of the Rotation Action selection set takes care of problems.

In this block You must not delete something.

Just not include flip parameters in flip actions (in Your case - remove)

You can include grips if You need
