Hiding Objects Under A Dynamic Block?

Is there a command that hides objects under a dynamic block, yet doesn't hide the parts of a dynamic block. I have a block of a window that i want to place over a studwall and if I use a wipeout to hide the studwall, it also hides the window. I tried to change the draw order using the draworder command and positioning it "under" the block, but in testing, it still hides my block. Anyone know of anything I can do?

Thanks,

Wes

Have you tried drawing the wipeout first then drawing the window objects ?  Select your window objects then copy with base point, set it to 0,0.  Then delete all of the window components except the wipeout.  Then paste to original coordinates.  The linework will now be drawn on top of the wipeout and no need to change display order.  I don't know it this will work but it's worth a try.

When you do wipeout you have to look at your draw order. Try this

type in DR into the command prompt

select your wipeout frame and in the options given do UNDER OBJECTS

Select all the objects you want under your wipeout frame (make sure you don't select the wipeout frame when doing this)

This should work fine. Make sure your block is in front of the stud wall.  See my example
