Help creating a Dynamic Block

Good morning

I have almost no experience with Dynamic Blocks, but I think it can help me doing my job

In the office that I work we recieve some SPTs everyday and each one have to be drewned and launched in the right spot at the profile, all it is done manually, takes a long period of the day and has 1 employee only in this function

So I suggested working with blocks but the water level in a simple block is static and it floats according to the different place so we have to make it Dynamic.

The structure of it are some small rectangles 2x10 representing 1 meter alternating hatches according to the depth and all the places are filled with attributes (where we put the NSPT value)

For example screenshot 1 we have a 4,xx meters spt Capturar.JPG

My intention is to make a big block with 30 meters that I could have a parameter that changes the width from 10 to 10 (1 meter) hatching the first and no hatch on the second, hatching the third..., stretch the last block according to the stop depth and moving the water level as it has to be.

Here is a example of how is a real oneCapturar2.JPG

I've tried all things that I know but dont make it worked

Someone could help me

Sorry for my poor english, Im Brazilian btw

The trouble with this is the ending depth isn't a nice even number so an array won't work as easily as others.

What is the maximum depth?

What are the heights of the alternating bands supposed to be? Right now they measure 10.6, are they meant to be every 10?

I'll play around with this when I get some free time and see what I can come up with.

A: Its 10, 10.6 was a scale mistake, Sorry

Thank you for helping me, feel free to contact me anytime by e-mail or replying here

All attributes must have their own unique tag.  All of yours are the same (XXXX) and will not work.  You also cannot array attributes so an array will not work for the attributes or the alternating bands.  You are then relegated to visibility states.  Here I show what I think you want for the first four states and how to make them switch automatically.  You can do the same for as many states as you want your block to be able to do.  Let me know if you get stuck.

Libbya has pretty much the same idea I had in mind, so try and follow along with his video. The double lookup parameter is very powerful but can be confusing so ask questions if you get stuck.
