Dynamic Blocks with Text

Hey everyone, I am trying to create a dynamic block that I can stretch to resize the edges of the block and a text box within it will automatically resize with the border.  I've tried using mtext and tables to see if I can constrain to the premade stretch option with these objects but I cant get my parameters to select anything else other then the base points for both these objects. If anyone has some suggestions they would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

That's a very common request (have text resize based on block or have block resize based on text) but unfortunately, as far as I know, it is not possible.  You can, of course, resize either one independently, but having text *automatically* resize to the block or vice versa is not possible.

Like the Express Tool TCIRCLE does https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/getting-started/caas/screencast/Main/Details/ff799c94...

Or like this http://www.lee-mac.com/boxtext.html

or ... well, tell us more by showing us with pictures or dwg files.

If you just want a box around your Mtext use the Text frame option in object properties. The Text frame option will automatically resize the frame if the text is changed.

If a field is used within an MText object the Text frame will resize. Text frame doesn't work with attributes but you can use the attribute value in a field and it will resize the frame.

The TCircle frame doesn't resize if the text is changed.
