Hatches keep coming in front of draw order inside block when copied into new template

Hi!

I am currently having what looks like a draw order issue inside a dynamic block with the hatches specifically. When we use our "template update" code, OR copy and paste the items into the new template, the hatches all come to the front of the block, blocking the linework from being seen.  This code just opens the new template and copies everything over from model space, the person who wrote the code is insisting it is an AutoCAD thing.

I have tried making the hatch not associative, but then we lose the ability to match it to the new size of the block outline.

I have tried the hatch draw order to behind the boundary, this did not work.

I used REA, BATTMAN, turned my graphics performance on.

I've tried adjusting my hatch settings across the board.

Any help would be much appreciated - stripped drawing is attached! Thanks!

I cannot replicate your issue.  When I copy and paste those two blocks into a new drawing, the draworder remains the same.  That leads me to believe that it is either an issue with the LISP you are using or an issue specific to your workstation settings.  Good luck.

Thank you! I thought I was going crazy - going to take this back to the code developer and have him run some more testing.

I've seen draw order not being honored in blocks before.  The solution was to force the draw order by creating/recreating the objects in order.
