Field Length not properly updating with scaling

I have created a block to display levels on a building and have done so by adding a field that is linked to the length of a non-plot line in the block. Everything in the block is working perfectly except that the block is annotative and field will not display the proper length of the line in different annotation scales. I'm trying to get this to work without having to change the conversion factor every time i need this block in a different scale.

I have attached it below. Any help is greatly appreciated

Attached is a similar block I use.  It is annotative.  The height fields reference the block basepoint Y value.  In properties you can change some custom properties to set the actual elevation of FF 0-0.  You can also change the 'Inch offset' if you want to draw with 0-0 at a Y value other than 0 or want more than one 0-0 elevation in the file.

Following up on your thread, it appears that several folks have tried to help on this issue. Were you able to find a solution? Or a workaround?

Did any of the posts in the thread help with your issue?

Please post back in the thread if you are still having an issue with AutoCAD or Select Accept as Solution for the post’s that helped.

Thanks for your time.

Thanks for sharing, but I definitely prefer the block that I posted.  It has all the same functionality but is easier to use and does not have the significant downside of causing a significant issue if someone happens to delete or incorrectly move the reference block.
