Equal Spaced Dynamic Block question

i saw a dynamic block on here but now i can't find the post which took a rectangle and added a line at a specific dimension when stretched. I know it used the stretch action on a linear parameter with multiple visibility layers & a look up table. Any way what i am trying to do is set up a group of circles that show our dowel locations on cabinet parts. I want the back group of this block to stretch equally but add another dowel once  3.77952" has been reached. I have everything set up but that and can't figure it out. attached is also the equal spacing block i found that adds the lines automatically. Anyone have any idea what i am missing? pretty sure it has something to do with the look up table...

my block stretches and keeps the front three dowels locked in place then you would stretch the front dowel of the moving group to cover the 3rd dowel. That group of dowels should be spaced 3.77952" or less and adjust the visibility to how ever many are needed to do so.

There's something that tells the block to change the visibility when it reaches a certain point on the attached equal spacing drawing but i can't figure out what. That's what i need to do to my linebore. Pretty sure it has something to do with the lookup since it works regardless of my having that in there or not.
