Is there a way to set the limits of a linear parameter (i.e. max & min) to be within the value of another linear parameter. Say for example a bar with a hole in, the position of the hole and the length of the bar are varaiable, however it wouldn't do to have the hole outside the bar.. Limiting the linear parameter of the hole to being less than that of the bar would work, however I cannot figure a way to do it.
Is there another way to look at this problem??
Edit: Example dwg attached
I do not know of a way to dynamically change the max distance of a parameter. While I think that would be interesting, I don't really see it as a problem. The end user of dynamic blocks has to still have a little intelligence. It's pretty easy to not place the hole outside the perimeter of the flat stock.
My example was an oversimplification of the problem, though I'd agree common sense would make a lot of these problems unnecessary, they still seem to crop up from time to time.
