Dynamic Block Contraints

Hi,

I'm making my first foray into dynamic blocks.  Exploring contraints and want to know if there's a way to constrain geometry within the block to the y axis.  My example:  I've got a move action assigned to a rectangle within the block, and I only want to be able to move it on the y axis (ie. up and down).  It seems that I can only constrain the object to another object, rather than constrain to an axis.  is this right?

Begin with a Linear parameter along the Y-axis then apply the Move action to parameter and select the objects you are moving. That should do it; no constraints necessary.
