DBconnect a Dinamic Block

I am trying to update a value of a database using dBconnect with the value of an attribute of a dynamic block.
The idea is that when the area attribute of a dynamic block is updated (and the value of the attribute takes the value of a field that is the valor of a parameter of the dynamic block)
this value is also incorporated into the database record linked to DBconnect.

I want to thank Danny Brassinga (DannyNL https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/3144455) because with the response to JeanetteAbrahamsen about
"DB connected blocks - how to color automatically via script" ( https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/visual-lisp-autolisp-and-general/db-connected-blocks-how-to-colour-au...) opened my curiosity about how to link attribute data with data of data links.

Salu2.

Before i spend more time for this:
Is there a dynamic block issue and static blocks working, or why you post this?

If you are new to this, check out the dbconnect sample and help sites (F1).

Let me know what is your state and what is your question.

I would very much like to do this also. Please post an update of your discoveries.

I can see that accessing database fields in CAD is very powerful, BUT to make them work together I would like to update the database with data from my drawings. It is easy enough to populate an attribute with drawing info, sheet number, quantities, revision date, etc. I want to pull that back into the database.
