curved lines

I have a question......this is the first time this has happened.......well into a design I must have touched a key, but I don't know which.  The result is now all circles and curved lines appear more like polylines.   I tried going back a few entries but it only got worse.  I tried like one suggested to REGEN ALL....it does not seem to work either.

Must I start over again or is there a way to recover the original work?  I checked by drawing a circle on an new page and the circle comes out the same...rough and wobbly.

Thanks,  John

At the command line type options.

Choose the display tab. Check the highlighted are in the image below. Make both numbers larger. I usually set mine at 20,000

As I said at the command line type OPTIONS. You will see a dialog box pop up. Click the tab which says DISPLAY

OK found it.........my list there is     1000- ARC and circle smoothness

                                                                8- Segment polyline curve

                                                                0.5 Rendered object smoothness

                                                               4- Contour lines per surface

I put Arc and circle smoothness up to 20,000 but the circles are still very wavy.....I use a lot of circles to generate tangents etc

I don't have full Autocad, but I would suggest upping the numbers on the other two values as well.

Use REGENALL command, do your circles now look correct?

Type in the command line GRAPHICSCONFIG and show us a screenshot of the Graphics Performance Window.

(Or play yourself with the settings in this window).

One of the most important information you have withheld from us so far: which graphics card?

And: Set the system variable HQGEOM (I miss it in your graphic settings) to 1 andcheck what happens.

Sorry....Radeon R5 M420  2GB.........tried the HQGEOM ...at 0 change to 1......"not supported"

I am just confused why this has been OK for over a year and started acting up only today.  I am hesitant to continue with the wobbly lines in case they will affect all the drawings.

And again an important information, which we rather accidentally and incidentally get to know. Man Frustrated (SCNR).
Has the graphics driver possibly been updated by an automatic update?
