hi, new user here, ive learned a lot from these forums, but finally have a problem of my own that i cant quite figure out.
we draw our structural plans with a 100', 200', 300' etc vertical offset between levels of a structural depending on the size of the building. i am trying to create a dynamic block for shearwalls that extends and rotates at both the upper and lower levels. additional functionality included switching between a 2x4 and 2x6 wall and changing the offset distance between 100'-500'.
just started playing with chained actions to accomplish this, but running into some issues. in the attachment, shearwall 1 i tried chaining a rotate and a stretch separately. it works fine if you pick 2x4 or 2x6 and stretch the wall BEFORE rotating, which would be highly annoying. shearwall 2 i tried chaining a polar stretch, but it seems to rotate the upper wall about a point that i cant figure out. also not stretching the upper wall.
at a loss here, please help!
