Blocks not working in 2014 or 2015

Hello old an new friends I have had these parking blocks for several releases and they have been refined along the way. I recently discovered that the count no longer updates when the block is stretched. Is there a known issue with 2014 and dyno blocks?

I have a sneaky suspicion it has to do with the attribute tags.

Additional information.

If I start a new dwg based on acad.dwt they work fine. Something gor into my civil3d dwt file thats causing this. What could it be?

The attributes that contain the fields are set to Constant = Yes.  Set them to Constant = No, save the block, and run ATTSYNC and they will work.

As far as the issue existing in your dwt, is the block already defined in the file?  If so, then you will need to redefine it in the dwt.

It works fine for me after the attribute property is changed.  I'm using 2015.  You may already know this, but you have to do a dynamic action to jumpstart a new block insertion and then run a regen to update the fields.  Fieldeval system variable might be affecting it as well.  I have fieldeval set to 31.

I restored an older version of my c3d prototype dwt file and the blocks work again as expected.

I keep a diary of any changes to that file and the only thing I did to it after the restore date was add a few pipe label styles. So, I'm still perplexed as to why is wouldnt work.

The restoration of the dwt file is no the solution.

The true culprit was the FIELDEVAL was set to 5. I reset to the initial value FIELDEVAL=31 and all the blocks regen
