Block Properties Table Units

Is there a way to change the units in the block property table from inches and feet to just inches? 

example: it shows up 1'-7" I want it to be 19"

Have you tried just typing the values into the block table as inches?

Use the UNITS command to change the drawing units from Architectural to Decimal or Fractional.  Unfortunately it will affect model space also but is easy to change back if desired.

Yea the issue is it changes with every drawing. I want it to stay consistent

Yes I did and it converts it back.

??  It is consistent when it changes everything...  [music starts - Rolling Stones]  The display on the table is a function of the drawing units.  I do not believe that there is a way to change the display only on the table or only in block editor.

Hmm, how about adding a couple User Parameters to use for the selection of values in the block table. Set them up as text values, put them in the left two columns of the block table and write in whatever you want.

If you want every DRAWING to display the same, then add a lisp to your startup suite and within that lisp use (command "-units" "5").  From that point on, every drawing you open will have the units set to Fractional.

Yea I was afraid of that answer. It works fine in the lookup table part because you can set the properties to whatever you want. Thanks anyways!

I don't understand the difficulty.  That is a super-simple solution to implement and will open every drawing the way you you are asking for.  What is the downside?

I dont want everything in the drawing to be in decimal format or fractional. I still need dims and such to come up as feet/inch.

Ah, so you wanted the display changed for the selection pulldown, not the table itself.  Ok.
