Block distorting on one machine

Hello,  We have a room name/id dynamic block that we've used for several years without problems.  Recently, when drawings are opened on one machine in our office, the text in the block is huge.  Our work around is to move the blocks, which resets them, then move them back into their original location.  But when the drawing is saved on that machine, the problem replicates on other machines afterwards.  It also then converts the text from multi-line to single-line on the new machine.  Further complicating this is that it happens intermittently, but always originates with the one machine.  From what I can see there is nothing in the block definition that is causing this, which makes me think it is a setting on that particular computer.  My inclination is to reload that ACAD, but any other thoughts on settings that might be causing this?  Thanks!

First thing is first. Post the block if you can so we can help you better.

Have you redefined the block? I would try ATTSYNC command

Here's the block.  It has not been redefined since before I got here three years ago, so ATTSYNC does not seem to apply?  It happens on drawings that were created on that machine, as well as on drawings that were created by others and opened on that machine.  If I use the block on my drawings, for example, it does not cause any problems until the drawing is opened there and saved.   Then the problem shows up on my computer.  I updated that computer to ACAD 2018 then went on maternity leave at the same time a new employee came in.  As far as I know, there was not a problem with this with the previous employee, and it only began happening while I was on leave which makes me think it's system-specific.

I have't been able to duplicate this bug with the block you posted so I also think it is related to the original computer  where the bug occurred. The changing of the text type is especially weird, I've seen sizing bugs but nothing about actually changing the type of text that it is. I'm assuming only the text is bugging? The box remains the same?

That's a good question about the box.  This happened today on a drawing where the room number was turned off, but has happened previously on drawings where the room number was used and I'm not sure if the box sized with it.  Again, since we can't intentionally replicate it, I have to wait until the next time it happens.  I think I'll try reloading ACAD in the meantime.  Thank you for taking the time to help me with this!

Check that the new employee hasn't loaded any outside LISP routines or apps from the AutoCAD App store that may be causing unintended actions.
