array dynamic block with stretchable option to last element

Hi guys,

I have this blockwork array dynamic block, but sometime at the end of the wall the block work has to be cut out short, I normally draw the last shorter blockwork element out side the dynamic block.

I am wondering if it is possible to have it as part of the block, the last blockwork on the line would be stretchable.

Hopefully it is clear.

I have upload my blockwork block.

All ideas are welcome.

No upload attach.

Login to the forum and try it again.

A: Without your data, but I think you can! MOVE the last part by the same parameter as your array use. One parameter with two actions, one for array, the other one your move action.

I just uploaded the block.
If I understand correctly your idea, the last block would always be the same size.
do you think it would work with stretch option? the size of the last blockwork varies.

Hi

Your file is attached now.

>" the last block would always be the same size"

Yes.

>"do you think it would work with stretch option?"

Move or stretch is the same (if all grips are inside the stretch crosswindow.

>>"the size of the last blockwork varies."

Ahh, that's new task.

If it is an blockreference, no.

Explode or redraw it as part of your block (not a blockreference Inside your block),

add your parameters for this part and

add one move action to the array-parameter, to move all objects incl. parameters of the end part.

Hi there,

I played around a bit with your idea, and came up with the block attached.

I added one moving blockwork in front of the array section.

Is that a way for the movable blockwork be always 10mm in front of the last blockwork in the array section?

Change the parameter of Distance1 to be INCREMENT and set the distance to 450. Then it will always be 10mm away from the other part of the block. See the image below
