Adding leaders to blocks

I'm pretty savvy with CAD, and I'm starting to get some practice on making my own blocks.  However, I'm having issues creating a block with an attached leader line that works.  I'm trying to create a dynamic block that is essentially a note by symbol hexagon with a leader attached to it.  I can get that far, but the leader line doesn't have any "selectable" points to maneuver the arm or the pointer itself.  The goal is to place this block inside a drawing close to where I'd like to point it and be able to move the leader where it needs to be.  I've attached an image of the block I've created so far along size the type of leader I would like to attach to it.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Add point parameters with stretch actions to the leader points you want to be able to stretch.  If you want more help or better advice than that, then post the block so someone trying to help you with it doesn't have to start from scratch.

Thanks, do you know if there is a way to keep the leaders straight. My work does not like angled leaders

Very informative video. Hopefully you get this as I need additional help.  I have a block I have created to automatically populate xyz coordinates with a border around all the fields and tied to essentially a leader and landing. Each attribute is set as an individual coordinate N:,E:,Elv: with a title attribute at the top for the control point number.

My question is I have the flip action applied however my justification doesn't quite look that great when flipping. Is there a way to get it to adjust with my border?

Secondly, I also have an issue where if use the stretch parameter at the leader and landing, and move "the box with information" my landing will not auto adjust to the bottom, opposite side, or top of the box. How would that have to happen?
