Actions on both grips?

I'm sure that the answer to this is probably a no, but is it possible to get a move action to work on both parameter grips on a linear parameter? Is there a work around for this? I'm starting to get sick of doing the same stretch and move actions on both sides.

If the answer is a no does anybody have a suggestion as to where to post this idea on the ideas board? There's seems to be no board for it

Nope.  Grips are associated with one end of the linear/polar parameters only.

I think that being able to associate an action with more than one grip would make troubleshooting much more challenging.  I do wish that one could modify actions to change which grip location it is associated with.

Yeah if you could copy and paste the actions and keep the properties and selected objects that would be perfect. Just re associate the actions to a new grip. It would be a huge time saver. What idea board do you think would be best to share this on?

In your post you mention "the same stretch and move actions on both sides", could you explain this a little more?   I ask because I'm wondering if this might be a matter of using two move/stretch actions on just one of the grips with the move/stretch actions set up to operate in opposite directions.

Your suggestion would work. You could also set them to stretch and move from the middle point of a linear parameter instead of the starting point. But then you have to place the block in reference to its middle point. For my use I prefer stretching from one side which is why I can't use your suggestion. Thank you though!

You don't have to have the middle of the block at 0. You can add a basepoint parameter, or not. See the attached drawing

I know this but thank you anyway! For my intended  use it's more ideal to stretch from one side of the block to the other. With your suggestion I would have to place the block in the correct middle point to stretch to the right size.

If you would also like to see a feature like this built into block editor mode please go vote for the idea that I shared on the Idea Board under Community since there is no place for just plain vanilla Auto Cad.
