File Crash when trying to edit or delete past features?

I am not sure this is the place for a question like this but here it is.

I have a more or less simple part that I made and simulated. I then needed to backtrack in the feature timeline and make some changes and resave as an updated part. After I simulated the part and went back to edit a feature (fillet) it crashed. I then reopened 360 and tried again with no success. It seems the file is corrupt from this particular fillet back in the timeline, I can edit things ahead of it but nothing behind it. I do not have an older version of the part to revert back to and there were no autosave files for a good version of the part.

Things I have tried:

-Deleting the fillet

-Editing the fillet

-Moving the time head behind the fillet (results in a crash)

-Restarting computer

-Logging out of 360

How can I fix this without having to redraw the part?

Is it possible to share the Fusion Design with me?

Feel free to PM me a share link if you prefer to keep the design private.

Thanks,

I can not share the part but I have partially solved the issue. I opened the file on my mac (previously opened with pc) and it worked great so I deleted the problemed fillet and resaved it and now I  can open the file on my pc just fine. Although when I try and add the fillet again, it crashes... I think it is an issue with the fillet algorithm on some of the more complex shapes. For now I am doing my simulations with an un fillited part and then adding the fillets at the end for visuals since once I add the fillets, it corrupts the file.

Thank you for the update and for all of the information. This sounds eerily similar to a report I logged recently (ref ID FUS-25799). I wasn't able to verify via an error report. It doesn't appear that any have been submitted from your e-mail address. If possible, please submit the error reports to Autodesk. They can be a big help to identify and fix these types of issues.

If there is anyway for me to get a sample design that exhibits this issues from you,  please let me know. I will be happy to add a test case to the report to make sure we are fixing the issue.

Thanks,

Unfortunately 360 hard crashes and doesnt give me the option of sending a report of the problem. The only option is to close the program, and upon startup there is no evidence that it crashed and no recovery file for it.

I wanted to let you know that we have narrowed in on the root cause of this issue. We have found this to be a Windows specific issue. If you have access to Mac, you can open the design, perform a modify > compute all and then save a new version of the design. This will resolve the issue. We are actively working on a fix for this issue. If you have any questions or if I can help with anything, please let me know. I am happy to help.

Thanks,
