Belt assembly

Tell me how to make timing belt and the rotation of the two pulleys? I found on YouTube instructions for Inventor, but they do not work for Fusion. Maybe there is a suitable screencast?

For example, the chain and the sprocket is also interesting

You can get two component to rotate with a relationship or ratio defined in a command called Motion Link.

There's a really old video in the below link, but the basic idea is the same.

I hope that helps, let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Of course there are issues!) How to make to rotate not only the gears, but the belt \ chain? There are many instructions on how to do it in Inventor. Is it not possible to fusion? I really need a belt drive, and I do not want to download  Inventor for it

There's not anything that really comes to mind to get a belt or chain to move with the pulleys at the moment.

You may consider adding a feature request in the Fusion 360 Ideastation for future consideration:

You'll get my vote too. Being able to model gears, chains, pulleys easily with the right behavior is really important

You will get my vote also if you do this in the idea station.

I want to ask all of you to formulate the idea to write because I do not write very well in English

This Idea is labeled as solved, is there any application in fusion yet? I am trying to model something with a belt today and cant find any information beside this post.

Hi @colin.bastien

This thread was marked as solved because Nate confirmed that a belt tool is not yet available in Fusion 360. He also created an Ideastation post requesting this feature to be added, which is being considered for future implementation. Please give the idea a vote if you would like to see belt assembly tools included in Fusion 360!

Feel free to let me know if you have any questions!
