Drawing: aligned dimension annotations for isometric view not working properly

When trying to get dimension annotations from any view but head-on (front, top, side, bottom) the measurement is usually taken at some weird projected angle. In the picture the dimension on the bottom is going off at some weird angle and is not showing the correct measurement while the dimension at the top is aligned correctly and shows the correct measurement. Both of these dimesions are the same length in the model and dimension driven.

Hi Nathan,

Thanks for the post.  I agree this should work, but this is a limitation in standard AutoCAD dimensioning that we inherited in Fusion Drawings.  You are correct, in ortho (Front, top, etc.) views you are getting the correct distance because the projected length of that edge is head on.  For Isometric views, you get the 2D projected length for that edge (or points selected), not the actual 3D distance.  I will forward support for this to the product team.

Thanks,
Chris
