June Release: Upcoming Improvements to the Community Experience

This morning PST, we’ll be rolling out a few updates to improve the Autodesk Community experience. These changes will be mostly focused on performance and overall usability.

What to expect:

Topic Page Menu Behavior

During internal testing, we identified an issue where the topic page menu could overflow while scrolling. This fix will ensure the full menu remains visible and easy to navigate at all times.

Duplicate Labels on the Group Cards

Private groups currently display the "Closed" label in two places: above the avatar and below the group name. After the bug fix, only the label below the group name will remain.

Clearer Search Filters on Forum Boards

The “Category” search filter on forum board pages will be updated to display "This section" instead of "This category" for better clarity. This change reflects how users actually experience the community structure and avoids internal terminology.

Faster Load Times for the Community Hub

We’ll optimize the image files on the Community Hub industry page to reduce load times across regions. This is a short-term improvement while deeper performance work will continue to further enhance the loading time across the website.

Thanks again for your patience and continued support as we work to improve your experience on the Autodesk Community.
