I might be wrong, but as I know custom expressions could be created only for labels. I would enjoy a possibility to enrich my limitations by creating expressions for my profile and section view band sets.
Also would be perfect to return string results form expressions.
Expressions could return Strings, would be great. And it would also be great if you could put expressions in the bands, this would ease the documentation process.
