Storm & Sanitary Analysis - Import Curve Numbers

I am very new to SSA. I am used to sizing storm sewer in HydroCAD. I find that both have their place. I work on large civil sites - more than 50 inlets, very often. I would like to import my ground covers directly to my sub basins. For example of a 10,000 SQFT sub basin, 6000 is 98 CN, 2000 is 70 CN and 2000 is 50 CN. I dislike inputting data in manually (strongly). As far as I know, you must put this information in manually, as I have failed to come across a feature in the forums, manual, or YouTube. 

 

If you are familiar with importing HydroCAD subcatchment from CAD, you have closed polylines for soils and land uses.  The software makes regions and associates CN based on Hydrologic soil group and land use. My projects *usually* span across hydrologic soil groups, which makes inputting the subbasin CN that much more tedious. 

 

I think I would proposed a new feature - "Link Land Covers to Catchments" - this would look for your closed polylines for HSG and land covers and associate them within C3D, which would be exported to SSA. I attached an example of an import of one of my subcatchments from HydroCAD below. For a HydroCAD import, the land uses are defined by a layer. The HSG are defined by a layer and a text box with the HSG letter. 

 

The feature could be in the catchment as a new tab than has a list of the Area, Curve Number, land uses, and HSG.

If anymore input is needed to explain how HydroCAD imports work, I could give some more information, but I am not a coding expert.
