SAC: Get Marked point

SAC: Get Marked point

When I work in SAC with "Get Marked point", I am programming as a blild.

If another subassembly has several "set marked point", for example to define 2 points to determine a slope, then I can´t recreate that scenario (slope) in my current subassembly using "get marked point" (typing the same marked name), due to SAC throws the report message about Marked point does not exist.

Ok. It does not exist, but if I add temporary a "set marked point" as the first element in the current subassembly (with that marked point), I can´t either remove that report message.

What I want to mean is that I would like to add "set marked points" in the header of my subasssembly to check my subassembly and finally I could disconnect that "set marked points" to save my PKT file.

Currently, we can´t do this because SAC doesn´t recognize the same set and get marked point in the same subassembly (in SAC)

Please, add a "Show error" checkbox in the properties of "Get Mark Point" or "Auxiliary Mark Point".

Intersection points have this checkbox and I love to be able to disable it.

I don´t need to get this error in the Event Viewer in Civil 3D.... In fact, it is annoying. I control if this point exists or not with a Decision (P4.IsValid), for example. (I don´t need to get this error).

I have found a solution for this, but not the best I would like it;

I add an bool input parameter (Yes /No), called "Test".

Then, I have a Decision (Test = Yes) which creates normal points.

If Decision is (Test= No), then I use "Get Marked points", with the same ID of the other points (other branch).

This way, I can check muy subassembly in SAC putting (Test= Yes). 🙂

In addition, in the properties of the "get marked point" it would be interesting a checkbox called "search just in the same side"
Currently if we do a subassembly with several "set marked point", I have to specify different mark name for the same point for each side. I have to put a Decision (Side = Left) with 2 "set marked points" to put the properly marked name accordind to the side.
Remember that we could do mirror for our subassembly. A non full section subassembly also could have "set marked points"

I haven't tried what happens when the assembly has several set marked points with the same marked name, for example if we do mirror.

What must it be the criteria for "get marked point" in this case?

Anyone knows it?
