For surfaces defined using Point Files, there is currently no option to specify a relative path for the point file. My organization uses DropBox, so the path to the Point File always contains the original user's username. Unfortunately, when other users access the shared folder containing the Point File, their Dropbox path contains their username (and not the original users username). Each user who needs to edit the surface must specify their unique absolute path to the Point File. Once they save the drawing, other users must remap the file.
To date, I have not found a setting that allows a Point File path to be set as a relative path. Having this ability would greatly simplify my workflow and my clients frustration.
