Pipes - Need a Hovering Quick Elevation/Slope Edit

Pipes - Need a Hovering Quick Elevation/Slope Edit

Need a hovering edit function, that works like Quick Elevation Edit (QuickEditFeatureElevs) for feature lines, to more quickly and efficiently adjust Pipes.

We need to be able to quickly edit pipe slope and inverts in Plan view to mitigate current designer fatigue and more effectively make project deadlines.

***This also should work in Profile view.

This is a good idea. Presently we can put inverts into the quick properties dialog for plan view but you cannot edit the slope from quick props and it does not work in profile. It is a huge pain to edit each pipe manually when rules won't do the trick...

This leads to another old wish of having more editable data in the panarama for globally editing pipe diameters, inverts and slopes.

This doesn't quite meet your request of being "like Quick Elevation Edit" but it does have more funcationality such as forcing a specific drop at structures and the ability to not apply drops at null structures.

Another 3rd party option, that does work like the Quick Elevation Editor, but does not currently work in profiles:

Another third party option, the Pipe Quick Edit tool in Gizmo3D (works in profiles), here is a video demonstration.

Seven years later, I would like to bring this to the top. It could save SO much time if pipes were easier to edit. Yes, setting slopes and grades like feature lines would be a dream come true!

But in addition it could take 5 seconds instead of 5 minutes to edit a pipe run if we could set slopes and drops across multiple pipes like we can with multiple segments of a feature line.

Yes, I've seen that there is a 3rd party software we can do this with, but I am hoping we can  get this in Civil3d itself.
