PDF Tracing

In the 2017 version the command PDF Import was added and it works great in making the PDF into an editable .dwg file. However in my job we receive PDFs that have either been merges or sniped to where they are considered Raster PDFs and not Vector PDFS. I suggest adding a trace feature that will draw over imported PDFs like these instead of having to do it by hand or finding a work around using another program.

This would be great. I think it pretty unlikely to happen.

Raster Design includes the ability to "follow" lines in raster image files. This is a manual process. Autodesk's position is that this is a more controlled and accurate process than automated systems. There are third party programs that will vectorize images, even if in a PDF. (PDF to TIF conversion is pretty simple.)

Autodesk seems to think that Raster Design is like Mary Poppins; practically perfect in every way. It has not seem any improvement in several years.
