Would love to see Civil 3D be able to use Mr.Sid Generation 4 images. The U.S. Farm Service Agency – National Agricultural Imagery Program (NAIP) has released 2015 images of the state of Montana but we can not use them in any of the Autodesk products but IW360. We get a unrecognizable image format error even though they are still using a *.sid file extension. So there must be something in the header that is not usable. These are incredible images and we are being asked to use them all the time. We can convert them using the Lizard Tech software but this inflates the size of the image and seem to degrade the image a lot.
