This may be an AutoCAD related desire, but since there is no AutoCAD Idea Forum and I primarily use Civil 3D, I decided to post here.
We already have the ability to split up model space (model tab) into s separate viewports. It would be really nice to have the ability assign different layer states to each viewport in model space. Currently I have to go to paper space (layout tab) and create separate viewports there to see different layers states.
Thank you for your idea. This would need to be addressed in core AutoCAD, but we will share this with the AutoCAD team for review while customers continue to add feedback and vote on it.
