Some components of Civil 3D labels do not honor the settings within a style.
One example being an alignment line label style not honoring the color setting for dragged state components but not the leader component.
Example: If the color of the text (dragged state components) is set to "BYLAYER" the label displays and prints using the color as set in the layer specified for the label (general tab of the label style composer). This is as expected. Whereas the leader component behaves differently when the color is set to bylayer. The leader component displays using the color set by the label layer, while it prints using the plot style set by the alignment object layer. Below is a graphic showing this issue.

This particular label style is not the only one where this bug exists. Other label styles affected are for alignments, profiles, cross sections etc.
