Quite often in Civil 3D I need to work with a subset of data on the same layer so I use isolate objects and it would be great if these "Isolated States" could be saved. Layer states won't do it as it is an all or nothing thing
Thank you for your idea. This would need to be addressed in core AutoCAD, but we will share this with the AutoCAD team for review while customers continue to add feedback and vote on it.
What I envision for this would be similar to the workflow in Revit. You can hide elements and use a "Reveal Hidden Elements" tool that shows hidden items but in a faint/red coloring.
