choose the dependent objects when we do "copy/paste"

Ok.

Imagine the following scenario.

We have two drawing files ( A and B).

In the drawing file "A" we have an alignment (AL1), a surface (surf1), the surface profile (about surf1 in that alignment), the profile View (PV1).

If I copy the alignment AL1 from the drawing file A, to paste in the drawing file B, then all depedent objects are also copied to the drawing file B.

In the most cases that we are doing copy/paste between drawings files, me only need the mean object.

So, why not a similar form of the "export to LandXML" which was shown during the process to copy/paste the objects between 2 drawing files?

Yes, we can solve this with "Export to LandXML" from the drawing A and "Import to LandXML" to the drawing B, but it takes more time, and I think that some data is lost, such as the type entities of the alignment (fixed, floating,..) which in the new alignment will be all fixed typed for all entities.

If we copy/paste the alignments between drawings, then the entity type (fixed,floating,free) is remained.

 Moreover, if we wanted the surface profile without paste the surface, we could change the update mode to "static" in this form, so this in way is not necessary to paste the surface.
