Catchment Table

Catchment Table

Not sure why but it seems there is no way to insert a catchment table into Civil 3D. We are entering all this great information into the catchment objects to export for storm analysis but have no way of displaying it other than the catchment label. Having the ability to insert a dynamic table similar to parcel tables would save a lot of effort in having to recreate this information and would allow the engineer to only have to focus on making sure the objects were right in the drawing instead of having to remember er to update the spreaf sheet or table as well.

We're also looking for ways to include items like catchment name and area in a structure table and vice versa, being able to include structure information into a catchment table.

Catchment Tables would be a great function

6 years later... still a good idea! An alternative or addition to this idea would be making the flow path labels more versatile. Every jurisdiction I submit to will want to know what my roughness coefficient is but there's no way to display that in Civil 3D that I've found. Same with surface type, etc. This could be accomplished with a table or label but would be nice to have both.

Right now what I do is select catchments and use LIST.  Then copy history to Excel and then bring it back into ACAD

Now that Project Explorer supports Catchment objects (and is available to all Civil 3D subscribers), you can create a dynamic catchment table in drawing space or paperspace.
