When creating a composite surface from multiple surfaces (think of a parking lot graded with featurelines and an entrance road created using a corridor -- each has a surface), I want to have the boundary of the composite surface generated automatically from the boundaries of the child surfaces.
See the image for a visual of what I mean. The RED polyline represents the parking lot surface boundary and the GREEN & MAGENTA polylines represent boundaries of two entrance road corridor surfaces. The white polyline represents the desired boundary of the composite surface. It baiscally needs to take each indiviudal boundary, eliminate the portions within the overlap and use that for the composite boundary.
