Additional API Functions for the Subassembly Composer

Additional API Functions for the Subassembly Composer

Baseline.EntityStart: Returns the beginning station of the alignment entity at the current station (Line PI or curve PC station)

Baseline.EntityEnd: Returns the ending station of the alignment entity at the current station (Line PI or curve PT station)

These two functions would greatly enhance the power of the subassembly composer by returning the begin and end station of the alignment sub-entity at the current station.  Combining this with the Baseline.Station function, the designer could build subassemblies which behave differently in curves and lines, as well as transitioning between the two.

This may be outside the scope of this particular suggestion, but an additional change to the Baseline.Elevation function to allow it to take an argument for a station, and return the elevation of the baseline at that station, would be very helpful.

You could then combine this with the previous suggested functions to do very interesting things.  For example, Baseline.Elevation(Baseline.EntityStart) would return the elevation of the baseline at the start of the entity that the cross section is on.

This would be very useful for building corridors which generate feature lines with slopes differing from the baseline profile and dependent on the alignment geometry.
