Add elevation label for Feature Lines

Add elevation label for Feature Lines

Hi.

Surface label is really good to see elevations graphically. In my opinion, Feature Lines should have something similar. A way to add elevation labels on the FL, so were able to see elevations in the drawing. Even labels of slope, Delta Y between points/elevation points.

Thanks in advance.

I think Civil3D is available with the feature you mention. We can label the feature line with " Line and Curve". Some adjustments with the available label for level, distance, slope or more can be generated to suit your purpose.

Thanks for sharing, @charles_phanMGMAJ . When I tried using the basic line/curve labels, I was able to add a reference text component to get a surface elevation, but not the elevation of the feature line itself. I believe that is what @joantopo is requesting.

Yes!!

It works!!

15 years using Civil 3D and I did not know it!!!

You have to create 2 components to show elevation in the start and end of the segment.

I think that c3d template should incorporate this label style by default.
