X-Section info

Hello!
Where i can find more informatiom about (x-sect):
Band type - Section Data and Section Segment ();
Labels and ticks (Major increment, minor increment, centerline, sample line vertices, grade breaks, incremental distance).
I want to learn more but i can't handle with this forum...
