Why is my cross section view rotating the corridor?

I have 200+ cross sections for a proposed road corridor. The one in question utilizes superelevation, however, even the sidewalk is being affected. Although other sections use the same assembly and superelevation, this is the section where the sidewalk is not 2.00%. Any ideas what could be causing this error?rotated cross section.png

Hi @AcastelliLPYM6, let me ask you: Is your sample line at 15+00.00 skewed? When we have skewed sample lines, the data we see on the cross-section view is not what we expect. C3D presents accurate information depending on how the sample line is sampling the corridor. Can you confirm if your sample line is skewed?

Is it possible for you to post a sample C3D DWG with what you showed in the picture?

Regards!

A quicker way is to set the label precision to 1 and round up 🙂

Of course, I NEVER do this when in a time crunch.

In short, the sample line was somehow slightly skewed! To fix, I selected the problem sample line, right-clicked, and I chose the option "Make Orthogonal". Thank you 🙂
